About

A gourmet viewpoint on the grand palais

Welcome to Réséda Café, the new place that’s making the Grand Palais beat to a different rhythm! More than just a restaurant, it’s a lively, open and welcoming space, designed to offer a gourmet, friendly and committed experience created by Thierry Marx.
Whether you’re a visitor looking for a break between exhibitions, a local resident, a curious wanderer or a lover of fine food, Réséda Café is the place for you!

Located on the mezzanine floor, in a light-filled space covering over 500 m², the restaurant overlooks the central square of the Grand Palais. A peaceful, plant-filled haven, decorated in soft tones inspired by the colour réséda, where airy spaces and comfortable furniture create a fluid and warm atmosphere — just like Thierry Marx’s cuisine: simple, plant-based and purposeful.

Making dining a vibrant extension of the cultural experience

Réséda Café also has a clear mission: to make dining a vibrant extension of the cultural experience. Here, people take their time. They stop for lunch, brunch, coffee or dinner, with no entry fee, just for the pleasure of it. They take the time to meet up, chat and savour the moment.

Open, inclusive and attentive to its urban environment and visitors, Réséda Café fits naturally and seamlessly into the building. It is a breath of fresh air in the flow of the venue, a reference point in the urban fabric of Paris. You can see a table in the present, open to the sky of the Grand Palais.

An eco-conscious and community-minded space, reflecting the spirit of the grand palais it inhabits: open, curious, and generous.

But Réséda Café goes even further. In partnership with Cuisine Mode d’Emploi(s) — the training school created by Thierry Marx — the restaurant welcomes people in professional integration programmes whenever the conditions allow. It’s a concrete way of making catering a stepping stone, a bridge, a place of transmission.

Réséda Café is a committed, vibrant restaurant with its sights set on the future. It is an eco-friendly and socially responsible place, just like the Grand Palais it calls home: open, curious and generous.
